Salem Events is a free, ad-light calendar of everything on in Salem: the Elsinore Theatre, the Oregon State Fairgrounds and the LB Day Amphitheatre, the Oregon Symphony at the Rose Auditorium, Pentacle Theatre, skate nights at the Madhouse and the ballpark in Keizer, with the Beavers and the Ducks, refreshed daily from the venues' own listings. Its readers are locals, legislators and visitors to the capital planning an evening in town — the audience a restaurant, bar, hotel, parking garage or rideshare promotion wants to meet an hour before showtime.

How it works
Placements are sold by the month, with a minimum of one month. Creative is a short line of text and a link, or a small mark; we keep the look of the site, so there are no banners, pop-ups or tracking beyond a click count. Rates depend on placement and season — the arena’s concert calendar and the home teams’ seasons set the traffic — and are quoted on request.
